Guide to leaflet printing
Before you proceed to leaflet printing, take your time out in understanding the nuances of it. Printing and designing are the important deciding factors for the success of leaflets. If you do not choose right leaflet printing, there are chances for smudging of ink, tearing of papers, losing of text or design in the process of printing and many more. To achieve optimum results in leaflet printing, take heed to the following things.

Things to remember while printing leaflets

When you design leaflets, leave an imaginary margin. Avoid running text or design in this space. This is because there are chances for them to getting cut while printing. Make sure you save your pictures in tiff or JPG files to avoid running the danger of pixilation of pictures. Choose quality paper, preferably thick glossy papers that will not cause smudging of inks. At the same time ensure you do not choose extremely thick papers that will make your leaflet too hefty.

Strategies involved in leaflet printing

There are various strategies involved in printing leaflets. It also involves various decisions. First you should decide on the kind of paper that you are going to use for your leaflet. It can be high quality glossy sheets or simply an ordinary kind of paper. The high quality sheets as has been discussed earlier will not cause smudging of the ink or cutting of the paper while printing. On the other hand a poor quality paper cannot provide such high quality printing. But the glossy sheets are very expensive. Similarly you should decide whether you want to print in your office printer or in a commercial printing press. If you want to print in an office printer, you should find out whether you can print glossy sheets. But since leaflets are small and handy, you can print them in office printers itself without causing smudging of the ink. Similarly there will not be cutting of the paper as well. But however if you want quality printing, you should opt for a commercial printer who can provide quality printing. However, the kind of printing to a great extent depends upon the audience for your leaflet. If the audience belong to the high income group and educationally forward, your leaflet should also reflect it.
