Scientifically white space can throw a kind of relaxation to the eyes that are weary of heavy designs. But at times, even the most expressive image may need the support of powerful words.

Strategies to make the flyer striking

There are various ways to make flyers interesting and impressive. Each and every element of the flyer should be made attractive. Various elements of the flyer are the design, text, message, color etc These aspects should be given due attention. They should co-ordinate and be consistent with each other. Here are few tips to make your flyer look interesting.

Design

The design should conform well to the text. First and foremost, decide on the designing elements to be used. Various designing elements are color, graphics, photographs, images etc They should be planned before hand to avoid confusions at the end. The design should be unique and striking. There should not be over use of designing elements in your penchant for perfection. It will only spoil the appearance of the flyer.

Text

Text is the only spot where you talk directly to the readers. So use this opportunity well. Come up with a catchy headline. The headline should be kept short. It should be kept to less than five words. Don’t have dense content. It will upset the readers. Break the content into few pointers and present it well. There should be adequate white space as well. It is true that the designer is already limited by the space in the flyer as the normal size of a flyer is only 81/2 *11. But he cannot fill the entire space in the flyers with content as readers will hardly take their time out to read them. So there should be proper allocation of space for text, design and white space.
